Asian Green Beans

My mother-in-law brought these yummy green beans to our house for Easter.  They taste like something straight off the Pei Wei menu.  Both Little Devil and my nephew went nuts for them.  My friend Barb suggested that I make them again for Little Devil's graduation party, as she knew I was leaning toward an Asian-inspired menu.  She was right, they were a hit at the party.  I served them hot, but they withstood sitting around on the table a bit, and were just as delicious when eaten at room temperature.  A perfect side dish if you're looking for something a little different than the standard green beans!

Asian Green Beans
1 package frozen French-style green beans (Haricot Verts)
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
1 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoon olive oil

Bring large pot of water to a boil.  Steam beans for about 4 minutes.  Set aside.  In a separate bowl, combine garlic, soy sauce, Sriracha and honey.  Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.  Add beans and saute, stirring constantly.  Cook about 3-4 minutes.   Pour sauce mixture over beans and cook an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring until liquid is mostly cooked away.  Serve immediately.
