Easy Gluten Free Lasagna Bowls
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
1 (24 ounce) jar prepared spaghetti sauce (choose your favorite)
ricotta cheese
freshly grated mozzarella cheese
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Drain off any fat and season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if desired) and salt and pepper. Set aside to keep warm. In a saucepan over medium heat, warm up the spaghetti sauce. Layer the sauce and ground beef in bowls. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese and top with a dollop of ricotta. Serve with crusty bread or crusty gluten free bread if desired. Makes approximately 4 servings.
